Kara Oulette of Jackson, NH and Clare Bennett of Madison, NH enjoy the fun, games and giveaways at Oktoberfest at Cranmore.
Rocktoberfest will feature music by two rock bands, The Chris Fitz band and Piper. Returning for this year will be the popular keg race and other beer-related fun and games.
Sponsored by New Hampshire Distributors, Rocktoberfest will offer guests free giveaways including a commemorative beer stein from one of the authentic German brews being poured at the event, Beck's Oktoberfest, Erdinger Oktoberfesr and Erdinger Hefeweizen. The steins are available for a limited number of visitors on a first-come, first-served basis.
Rocktoberfest guests can also enjoy an array of fun Bavarian style food including bratwurst, sauerkraut, German potato salad, German chocolate cake and more.
Once again, the event will benefit a local cause. This year, the Eastern Slopes Ski Club will benefit from donations from Rocktoberfest visitors. Last year, over $1,500 was raised for local skiing phenom and US Women’s Ski Team ski racer, Leanne Smith.
Oktoberfest is open to all ages, but beer tasters must be at least 21 years of age and provide valid identification. A variety of beers will be available for sale (cash bar).
Tasters wishing to stay at the resort or at other area hotels can book lodging online.
